One my favorite things we did on our visit to Korea was going to a baseball game! We watched the Doosan Bears take on the SK Wyverns, and we had an awesome time! The fans are amazing, and it was totally different from a game in the US! It was very affordable, too.
We haven't been yet, but plan to go once our kids are old enough to understand why we are there. I will be sure to check the posts to see what everyone recommends!
I hope someday to visit Korea with my children! I was adopted at 6 months old and haven't been back. This is a great book!!!
I recommend just wandering the streets of Seoul after dark! At some point we ended up somewhere behind the Lotte Department Store and the lights and hustle and bustle were amazing!
one of the places i visited in Korea was the nam-san tower in Seoul. It's one of the most popular places to visit as you can see the city from above. There's a rotating restaurant at the top of tower...
Cheonggyecheon Stream, awesome family spot.
The arts/crafts district Insadong is a cool place that kids should enjoy. Granted, it's a bit of a tourist trap but there are so many shops, galleries and kiosks packed into this area that you're bound to find something you love.
It would be nice to go once and actually get to sight see. Every time i've gone it's been entirely consumed with visiting family. Don't get me wrong. Love the fam but would like one trip for fun sightseeing stuff.
We haven't been with children, but we were so interested in the Korean Folk Village--we'd recommend that to anyone.
I'm not sure where it was but we visited one of the temples. It was in the middle of a forest and just gorgeous. I remember eating the best food there on a raised covered platform. We grilled the best Kalbi I've ever had there. So beautiful!
We loved seeing a baseball game. We were there to bring our son home, so he wasn't there...but he got lots o' goodies.
Love the Children's museum at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. So many things to touch, try and do! It was a wonderful way to make Korean history and culture interesting for kids!
We have not been yet, but cannot wait to go and pick up our baby we are adopting! All of the places mentioned sound great!
We also recommend the Korean Folk Village.

A great way to see the city is the Seoul City Bus Tour -- I highly recommend it. Oh and a visit to Lotte Mart is always fun!! :)
Those are some great tips we'll have to try on our next visit to Korea.
We really enjoyed the Suwon folk village. In Seoul you should visit N Seoul tower, ideally just before sunset so that you can see the city in the day and at night.
On a recent trip to Korea for Taekwondo a lot of our group resisted trying the Subway, but when I showed them how how easy it was to use (and how clean and safe compared to ours) they loved it.
Winner is Becky and Bruce! Please email us at info@littleseouls.com to claim your prize! Thank you everyone for the great tips!
